About Coconut

Coconut Messaging was founded by Peter Claassen, former Head of Commercial SMS at Zipwhip.  He established their API business and built a sales team that delivered $100M in annual revenue within just five years.  After the $850M acquisition by Twilio in 2021, Peter served as Twilio's Director of ISVs until he departed in 2023.     

Living in Seattle, Peter is the dad of three amazing kids. He's an avid jazz musician, soccer and tennis player.
